Hi! This is Abi!
Hi, I’m Abi Bi (also known as Xinyi Bi), an illustrator and picture book maker based in Cambridge, UK. I hold a BA in Visual Communication Design from the China Academy of Art and began my publishing journey focusing on picture books, novelty books, editorial illustrations, and graphic design. In 2024, I completed an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art.
My work is deeply inspired by nature and everyday life, often blending imagination and metaphor. It’s characterized by vibrant colours and rich textures. I’m also passionate about exploring creativity across different disciplines.
