In our childhood, we all liked to seek a secret base that only belongs to ourselves, and regarded it as a sacred place, where our internal world will be protected and respected. And our self-awareness will increase day by day when experiencing those secrets. This is an experience of self-existence and self-development, a nature of human beings. This enlightened me to come up with the concept of “The Secret Garden”. This garden could be books, graffiti, music, pets and anything that can help children to avoid external pressures and immerse themselves in the internal
world. Thus, I designed a “Gray Apartment”, where every room hides a story of different children, and in those secret corners, their respective little gardens are growing unceasingly. Most important of all, this kind of avoidance is not escape, but to recapture the self-awareness and the harmonious relationship with the external world. Therefore, these tiny little garden of children grow wildly after breaking through the constraints of the gray world, and a present from the secret garden connects them together in a beautiful world.

THE RED DRAGONFLY
In my childhood, red dragonflies always appeared when the summer rain was approaching, under the guidance of a red dragonfly I found a beautiful neverland and met many friends. But after this place has undergone huge changes, I have never seen them again. Those things that are passed in my life, like a fading dream.
When I was young, there were many
red dragonflies.
